Hollinswood and Randlay in the Borough of Telford & Wrekin
Bordering Telford Town Park and Telford Town Centre. We are pleased to have in our Parish Stafford Park and our own oasis, the Randlay Valley.
Our aim as a Parish Council is to serve the local community and in doing so we offer the use of our three community buildings. Click here for more details regarding our facilities.
The Clerk to the Council ensures communication between our parishioners and the Parish Council is to the highest standard and that the meeting schedules, agreed by the Council, are publicised for all to attend.
At the request of the Parish Council, the Clerk and staff will also ensure, organise and oversee community events with guidance from the Parish Councillors.
Our three community buildings are Hollinswood Neighbourhood Centre, Hollinswood Pavilion, and Randlay Community Centre; they are maintained to high standards by our Parish Warden with help from the two Parish Assistants.
We employ an Assistant to the Clerk who supports the Clerk, as well as assisting user groups and parishioners. The team is completed by a Parish Warden, a Parish Assistant, SNAC Leader and Landscape Maintenance operative, who are also charged with looking after the environmental aspects of our Parish. Part of this role allows the Parish to offer a garden maintenance scheme to eligible residents. Whilst this is a free service for senior citizens and other eligible residents, extended work can be provided by arrangement. This is chargeable and a no obligation quotation can be arranged. Please contact the Parish Council office, for more information.
We also work in partnership with local groups, organisations and Telford & Wrekin Council. This year we have joined with Telford & Wrekin Council and introduced a Parish Environmental Team (PET) project. In order to enhance our area further, we have an apprentice that has joined our Team.
