Flypast – BBMF Lancaster Bomber – approx. 1.24pm TODAY

Subject to weather and aircraft status, there will be a flypast over our Parish at around 1.24pm today.  This is part of our Jubilee Fete celebrations and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have arranged for their Lancaster to over fly our area.  It is an iconic aeroplane and we hope that you enjoy the spectacle – do wave as they fly over!  And even better if you have any flags, wave those too, as we know for sure the flight crew will love seeing as many people out.

You can follow its route using a flight tracking app – aircraft type is LANC and the tail number / call sign is PA474.  It is hoped that the route will come from the south up the middle of Randlay and straight over The Pavilion Field, Hollinswood.
