Hollinswood & Randlay Parish Council resolved to OPPOSE the proposal of the Telford & Wrekin’s Boundary Review Committee which is to merge our Parish Council with an area of Stirchley. It is believed it would create a parish council which is still too large with no clear reasoning as to the benefits for all our residents, and the residents of Stirchley and most importantly will still result in communities losing their identities.
The Parish Council strongly urges everyone in both parishes to respond to the consultation – Telford & Wrekin Council Boundary Review Committee re-confirmed that the final decision will be based on the public opinions collected through this consultation process.
The Parish will be again holding public drop-in sessions on the following dates
10th October @ Randlay Community Centre 4-7pm
17th October @ Hollinswood Local Centre 4-6pm
