At the recent Annual Parish Meeting Chairman, Councillor Sheenagh Unwin, presented the Chairman’s Awards for 2025/26.

The Award was presented to Sheryl Hill.  Sheryl lives in Hollinswood and her support for parish council activities is very much appreciated.

The Young Person’s Award was presented to Silhouette Dance.   Some of the young people attended the meeting to collect the Award, which was in recognition of the group’s support at parish council events and the work they do with SNAC (the Special Needs Activity Centre).

The Chairman said “it is a great pleasure to recognise the valuable help and support which the parish council receives from the award winners”.

On the same evening, the Young Persons award was presented to Silhouette Dance Company.

This is well deserved and Councillor Unwin commented by thanking “Silhouette Dance Company for all their support provided to our parish”.

As a Parish. our facilities are used by variety of groups, clubs, churches and for private use, meaning that all our centres feel part of the local and wider community, both in our parish and across Telford.

This use makes our centres something that, as a Council, is rightly proud to provide for all of our community.
